The Fanatic Fuselage Carbon 78cm is the all-round option in Fanatic’s carbon foil platform, designed for riders who want a stable, balanced and confidence-inspiring feel across multiple foiling disciplines. If you are building or refreshing a Fanatic foil setup for wing foiling, SUP foiling, prone foiling or pump foiling, this is the fuselage that sits in the sweet spot between easy control and lively performance.

For many riders, fuselage choice is one of the most overlooked parts of a foil setup, but it has a huge effect on how the foil feels under your feet. The 78cm length gives you a calmer, more predictable ride than a shorter surf/freestyle fuselage, while still keeping enough responsiveness for progression. Compatibility

Yes - the Fanatic Fuselage Carbon 78cm fits the Duotone 3BS system. This is because Duotone’s 3BS mast/fuselage connection uses the same standard as the older Duotone and Fanatic carbon mast platform.

That makes this fuselage a good option for riders using compatible Duotone 3BS mast setups and wanting to keep an older Fanatic carbon-based foil system running.

It is best thought of as the legacy equivalent of the newer Duotone Aero AL 3BS 74cm, which replaced the previous Fanatic Carbon 78cm in the updated range.

Please note: compatibility still needs checking if you are mixing in older non-3BS aluminium parts or very early front wings, so if you are unsure, ask us before ordering and we will help you match the right setup.
